Fixed bug where having three Seraph Cybernetic Upgrades makes the drones cluster.
Fixed the playback of musical instruments that sometimes sounded a bit distorted when played with SDL_mixer.
Fixed out of memory blocks error that affected some custom maps, especially maps with very many objects.
Fixed glitch where icons of preferences files did not display correctly in MacOS X.
Changed the default place bomb key for player one to avoid conflict with num lock function on some portable computers.
Changed the default psi-focus key for player one to correspond new place bomb key placement.
Changed so that terminals are activated by stepping on them as well as by pressing the fire button.
Added message when player hits activate psi-foci without having one.

Map64 was added to the package some weeks after the initial release of Hollow Ground 1.2, so not everyone got it when they downloaded the previous update. Map64 is the old Ground Floor map in the new indoors shape for those who miss it. The strategy is somewhat different, but most things are unchanged.

Changed to using SDL’s platform independent open source libraries for everything from playing music to timers. Sound and music is converted to new file formats (.XM, .WAV).
Changed monster generation rate and re-balanced many other game parameters to be more challenging on the higher difficulty levels.
Changed so that extending bridge feature can be used with any type of tile and not just chasms.
Fixed bug where tiles in custom maps had the wrong friction (movement slow down) after having been transformed by explosions, extending bridge features, secret doors etc.

Fixed bug where secret doors could sometimes leave residual wall tiles that prevented movement.
Fixed so that the game should be able to automatically run in a window when full screen is not supported by the hardware. Notice that the game is still unable to run on some older graphic cards.

Added new monster. Disembodied Minds.
Added destructible items. Most items can be destroyed just like barrels.
Changed so that a new character need to enter the level on character death. This prevents the suicide exploit.

Added three new maps. (Alptraum Ohne Ende, Ex Inferis and Sewer Shrine).

Added check for sprite data integrity and auto-repair of any sprites damaged by the data conversion bug. This bug is also known as the Cortex Utero bug, since it is the only level where the bug manifests itself and causes the game to crash.
Fixed the bug that sometimes caused ion stones and seraphs to disappear temporarily when the player character teleported on the La Chute level.
